In context of efforts to strengthen cooperation between academic and judicial institutions, the College of Law at Al-Ayen Iraqi University welcomed Dr. Mohammed Radhi Bahr, Director General of the Juvenile Reform Department at the Ministry of Justice and a member of the Executive Office of the Iraqi Jurists Union – General Headquarters, on an official visit aimed at fostering communication and exchanging expertise between the two sides.

The guest was received by the Dean of the College of Law and several faculty members. The meeting addressed a number of laws related to the work of the correctional institution, as well as exploring avenues for joint cooperation between the Department of Reform and the College of Law through the organization of joint academic seminars and specialized workshops that contribute to developing legal performance and raising the academic and practical level of students.

The Director General commended Al-Ayen University and the College of Law for their role in supporting legal education and preparing highly qualified and committed legal professionals.  He emphasized the Ministry of Justice's commitment to strengthening partnerships with academic institutions in service of the public interest.

 For his part, the Dean of the College welcomed this esteemed visit, praising the initiatives that support constructive cooperation between the Ministry of Justice and Al-Ayen Iraqi University, and affirming the College's readiness to activate joint programs that serve students and develop the legal education environment.

In conclusion, both sides agreed to continue coordination and joint cooperation to enhance the academic and practical role in supporting the reform and justice process in Iraq.
