The Dean of the College of Law, Asst. Prof. Dr. Khalid K. Awda, chaired the committee that discussed a master's thesis at the College of Law, University of Dhi Qar, entitled "The Legal Center of the Secretary-General of the Council of Ministers – A Comparative Study," presented by student Narmin Iyad Abdul Karim.

The thesis examined the legal center of the Secretary-General of the Council of Ministers and its role in upholding the principle of legitimacy, ensuring the proper functioning of public services, and enhancing oversight of government performance.

This initiative falls within the framework of scientific cooperation among Iraqi universities, through the participation of their faculty members in scientific committees for seminars, discussions, and workshops, with the aim of improving education and achieving academic sobriety and quality.
