The Council of the College of Health and Medical Technologies held its third meeting for the 2025-2026 academic year to discuss academic plans and exam preparations. The meeting, chaired by the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Mohammed A. Al-Tahhan, and attended by all council members, focused on five main topics aimed at organizing academic and research work in preparation for the upcoming academic year.

Examinations were a central topic of discussion. The council discussed in detail the preparations for the first semester exams of the 2025-2026 academic year and emphasized the need to finalize the exam schedules to ensure their smooth operation and provide a suitable environment for students. The council also reviewed the college's plan for integrating and welcoming newly enrolled first-year students and stressed the importance of activating academic advising programs to help them adapt to the demands of technical and health-related specializations.

Furthermore, a comprehensive evaluation of the progress of current research was conducted, emphasizing the need to link research projects to the health challenges facing society.   The Dean emphasized the importance of supporting publication in reputable international journals as part of developing the college's institutional performance.

In a related matter, the council addressed the issue of evaluating faculty performance for the first semester. The initial performance evaluation results in academic aspects and curriculum adherence were reviewed, and a plan was decided upon to develop faculty skills in accordance with quality standards and academic accreditation.

The college council affirmed its commitment to ongoing efforts to develop the college's overall institutional performance in all administrative and technical aspects, thereby enhancing the graduates' readiness for the job market.
