The Career Development and Employment Division, along with Alumni Follow-up, at Al-Ayen Iraqi University held a specialized training course in optics to train the graduates and develop their practical skills in line with labor market needs.

The course was held in the laboratories of the Optometry Technology Department at the College of Health and Medical Technologies on November 29, 2025.

The course was presented by Mr. Al-Hassan Jalil, a faculty member in the Optometry Technology Department at the College of Health and Medical Technologies. He reviewed the most important basic principles of optics, modern techniques used in eye examinations, and the skills required to join institutions working in this field.

The Career Development and Employment Division explained that this course is part of their ongoing programs to support graduates and prepare them professionally. They emphasized the importance of providing students with practical training opportunities that help them enhance their experience and contribute to developing their applied abilities.
