The College of Management and Economics at Al-Ayen University, in collaboration with the Continuing Education Department, held a workshop entitled "The Role of the Financial and Banking System in Supporting Economic Stability." Presented by Ms. Tabarak Mays Hatem. The workshop addressed the importance of the financial and banking sector as a fundamental axes of achieving economic stability and promoting sustainable growth. It reviewed the role of banks and financial institutions in regulating the flow of funds and directing them towards productive investment activities, as well as their contribution to strengthening confidence in the economy by achieving monetary stability and mitigating financial volatility. The workshop also highlighted the importance of banking and regulatory policies in supporting the robustness of the financial system, in addition to their role in confronting economic crises and challenges, thereby contributing to achieving balance and stability at the macroeconomic level. The workshop witnessed significant interaction from the attendees, reflecting the importance of this topic in developing economic awareness and enhancing understanding among students and those interested in financial and banking matters.
