About the Department

The Department is considered a forum for the University's researchers,  which hosts various scientific  achievements, patents and dedicated publishing activities, in addition to several different scientific aspects. The department was established in 2018, the date of the University's establishment. It is one of the departments affiliated to the vice-chancellor for scientific affairs and considered his top priorities.

Vision and Mission

Based on the University's goals, the Department of Scientific Affairs adopts a vision of interest in the solid scientific research that meets the community's needs, encouraging different scientific activities to follow up with the scientific research and publishing, developing the researchers skills and many other different scientific affairs. The department aspires to be a forum for the University's intellectual products and to be a fundamental pillar in exploring and adopting the methods of knowledge development. It also seeks to insure research environment to support the distinguished scientific products and enrich and distribute the knowledge via improving the capabilities of the teaching staff.

Objectives of the Department

• Enhancing and strengthening the scientific research outcomes at the University and seeking to spread its moral and providing the morale and material requirements.
• Enhancing the scientific communication and strengthening the distinguished relations with the Universities, research centers, state institutes and the cultural and scientific associations
• Developing the teaching staff via adopting constructive training programs from renowned international universities, and urging the lecturers to scientifically devote themselves at such universities in order to achieve high standard scientific research and transfer the new technology to our university.
• Encouraging and urging the teaching staff and researchers to upgrade the level of scientific research at the university  
• exploring and adopting the methods of  scientific and knowledge development and improving the research and knowledge capabilities of the teaching staff.
• Sponsoring, encouraging and following up the distinguished intellectual outputs of the university such as publications, theses, patents and other distinguished scientific products.
• Developing the creative scientific activities at the university and documenting the data for all of the university's scientific activities in a unified manner such as conferences, workshops, symposiums, and following up their results and circulate them for uppermost benefits.
• Following up the publishing scientific journals published by the different departments of the University and work on strengthening and upgrading them to compete with their global.
