Prof. Dr. Shafik S. Shafik was accredited by the private universities and colleges by being elected as a member of the Private Higher Education Council through the elections held today in the central events hall at Al-Nahrain University.

 The election was held under the auspices of His Excellency the Honorable Minister represented by his Undersecretary for Scientific Research Affairs Prof. Dr. Haider A. Dahd, in the presence of the Director of the Research and Development Department Prof. Dr. Lubna Khamis, the Director of the Scholarships and Cultural Relations Department Prof. Dr. Hazem Baqir, and the Director of the Private University Education Department Assoc. Prof. Dr. Fares M. Alwan.
