The Al-Ayen Iraqi University (AUIQ) participates in the launch of Science Week Function between Iraq and Iran

A delegation from Al-Ayen Iraqi University (AUIQ), headed by the Chancellor of the University Prof. Dr. Shafik S. Shafik, and the Director of the Scientific Affairs Department Dr. Maitham T. Al-Mousawi participated in the launch of the Science Week Function between the Republic of Iraq and the Islamic Republic of Iran, with the participation of sixty universities and institutions from the two countries.

 The Chancellor of the university said, “The function was launched having completed the dialogues between the Iraqi Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology in the Islamic Republic,” adding that “Al-Ayen Iraqi University (AUIQ) in particular has distinction in terms of its research balance in international indexes and has great merit in  Compete in global rankings.

He stressed, “Openness to abroad educational institutions through mutual partnership contributes significantly to strengthening many solid academic fields, such as scientific research, academic programs, and platforms.”

 He added, "The Iraqi delegation included a high-ranking official representation from the Ministry of Education and its universities, which indicates a positive indication of interest in developing joint scientific cooperation programs between the universities of the two countries and achieving the desired level of relations of an effective impact on cultural exchange and scientific and academic expertise."
