On the sidelines of the visit to Malaysia, bt the Chancellor of Al-Ayen Iraqi University (AUIQ), Prof. Dr. Shafik S. Shafik, which attempts to prepare for signing academic and scientific cooperation agreements, the University was represented by the Dean of the College of Medicine Prof. Dr. Adnan Taan, the Dean of the Technical Engineering  College Asst. Prof. Dr. Rafid S. Al-Jubouri, and the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs Asst. Prof. Dr. Raed N. Kazem and Head of the Department of Internal Medicine Assistant Professor Dr. Mudar Zaki, while the Malaysian side was represented by the Deans of the faculties of Medicine, engineering, computer science, and informatics, and the directors of the artificial intelligence and industrial management centers.

The meeting, which was held on Thursday, September 14,2023, where the two parties discussed the terms of cooperation that serve the advancement of the two universities, the most important of which was Matching Grant Program for doing important scientific projects such as smart farms using A.I technologies, Student Mobility for training program.
