Al-Ayen University table tennis team (female) achieved the first position in the Iraqi Universities Table Tennis League, organized by Department of Supervision and Evaluation – Branch of Students Activities in the MHESR. And participated by 45 public and private universities and colleges.

The tournament  was held in Basra Government and hosted by Basrah University and another university.  We were able to achieve the first position in this tournament having topped our group and qualified for the final round and the competition was great. (The Director of Student Activities Dep. Dr. Hussein M. Tuama said)

He added "we have performed the preparation to prep[are a good team, so we entered the competition with satisfaction in terms of physical and psychological preparation. Stressing that the University was so interesting in providing all requirements and supported the department tremendously in order to meet this achievement. He thanked everyone contributed to the success of this tournament.
