The Continuing Education Center at the university, in cooperation with the (CBRN) Unit for Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear Security, held the second forum under the title "Security and safety of radioactive isotopes in the radiological and nuclear field and enhancing capabilities in the field of (CBRN) and safety and chemical security rules for educational laboratories".

The forum, was held in the hall of the Continuing Education Center, and attended by the lecturer at the College of Science at the University of Wasit Prof. Dr. Hadi D. Zarzour, and the Asst. Lecturer at Al-Ayen University Muhammad Q. Sultan, in the presence of the President of Al-Ayen University Prof. Dr. Shafiq Sh. Al-Mawla, and the Vice- President of the University for Scientific Affairs, Asst. Prof. Dr. Haider A. Marhoon, Dean of the College of Petroleum Engineering Asst. Prof. Dr. Najah Y. Al-Ali, Deputy Dean of the College of Dentistry Prof. Dr. Naseer H. Ali, and a number of departments heads and teaching staff.
