The Student Activities Unit at the College of Pharmacy, in cooperation with the Medicines and Toxicology Branch at the College, held the first Student Pathology Festival in Ibn Rushd Hall on the second floor under the supervision of Dr. Sarah Jaafar Saadoun, with the participation of third-year students .

The festival was attended by the Vice-President of the University for Scientific Affairs Associate Prof. Dr. Haider A. Marhoon, the Dean of the College of Medicine, Prof. Dr. Adnan T. Al-Khafaji, the Dean of the College of Health and Medical Technologies Prof. Dr. Ihsan Al-Bayati and a number of teaching staff members and lecturers in the college.

The festival was inaugurated by reciting verses from the Holy Quran. the national anthem and recitation of bless Surat Al-Fatihah for the souls of the martyrs of Iraq. The activities inside the hall also included scientific plays and scientific negotiations. As for the activities outside the hall, they included scientific and educational posters in which the students presented examinations and scientific explanations.
