On Wednesday, February 1, 2023, the President of Al-Ayen University, Prof. Dr. Shafik Sh. Al-Mawla, honored His Excellency, the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naim Al-Aboudi, with the University’s Golden Medal and Plaque.

 That was during the ceremony of honoring the winners of the University Award for the academic scientific researcher, for His Excellency's sponsorship of this ceremony and his continuous support for Iraqi scientific research and Al-Ayen University in particular.
