Al-Ayen University joined the world highest Index ((Nature Index)), where 26 researches were published under the name of Iraqi Universities in this sober index among which was Al-Ayen University. Reportedly the Nature Index is one of the gates for the Universities to be classified under Shanghai classification for the world highest ranking. Based on that, the Presidency of Al-Ayen University represented by the Respected Chancellor Prof. Dr. Shafik S. Shafik, the Vice-Chancellor for Scientific Affairs Asst. Prof. Dr. Haider A. Marhoon, the Vice-Chancellor for Administrative Affairs Asst. Prof. Dr. Atheer Y. Oudah and the Assistant of the Director of Al-Ayen Centre for Scintific Research Dr. Ali B.
