Al-Ayen Iraqi University achieved second place among Iraqi public and private universities in the Times Higher Education Sustainability Impact Ratings 2026, ranking between 401-600 globally. This ranking is among the most prominent international classifications that measure the contribution of higher education institutions to achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

This achievement represents a significant leap forward for the university, which has consistently strengthened its presence in global rankings.
