College of Technical Engineering/ Department of Computer Engineering Technology conducts a seminar for its students
Pursueing with the Distinguished University Council instructions aiming to creating an interactive studying environment in which the student has sufficient space to contribute to the scientific content of the subject, the College of Technical Engineering holds a series of seminars and symposia in the Department of Computer Technologies under the supervision of Asst. Lect. Ahmed Razak Kushaish within the engineering drawing subject in the AutoCAD program, to highlight the student's role in interactive lectures.
"Teachers' personality plays an important role in influencing the learners psychologically through communication and discussion, which is a positive teaching method from which we can benefit the Interactive lecture" Asst. Lect Ahmed said.
He Indicated "Interactive lectures help students learn more of cognitive content and build their abilities, develop creative thinking skills such as fluency, expand communication skills and enhance their self-confidence".
Stressing "It contributes significantly to changing the image of the teacher as the sole source of knowledge and makes the student the axis of the educational process".
The Deanship of the College represented by its Dean Asst. Prof. Dr. Rafid Al-Jubouri, appreciated this initiative and the efforts paid by the staff and called for popularizing the experiment.
