The College of Engineering at Al-Ayen Iraqi University, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Center, organized a scientific workshop entitled “EOR Techniques, Strategies, and Advances,” presented by Dr. Abdul Hussein Naama, attended by a number of faculty members and students.

The workshop aimed to review enhanced oil recovery (EOR) techniques and highlight the latest strategies and developments in this field, contributing to increased production efficiency and maximizing the utilization of oil reservoirs.

The workshop included a presentation of the fundamental concepts of EOR processes, a discussion of the most prominent technologies used in improving oil extraction, and an explanation of the role of technological advancements in enhancing production performance, reducing losses, and improving the economic viability of oil operations.

The workshop witnessed active participation from attendees through scientific contributions and inquiries, which enriched the discussion and enhanced the practical understanding of the workshop's topic.

This workshop is part of a series of scientific activities that the College of Engineering is committed to organizing, with the aim of supporting specialized knowledge and keeping pace with modern developments in the oil and gas sector.
